Some notes on cooking:
-
The smaller quantity of ingredients above
produces about 50 cookies, and the larger
one about 300, depending of course on how
big you make the cookies.
-
To grease the pan, try a mixture of corn
oil and liquid soy lecithin.
-
When making larger quantities, you may
notice that the liquids drain to the
bottom of the bowl or pot holding the
batter. This makes the cookies "runny"
when the batter comes from the bottom --
they're thin and tasty, but they tend
to break easily and they're hard to get
off the pan. This problem can be
counteracted by sprinkling a little
additional oatmeal on the batter and
mixing it in.
